Welcome to enjoy sauna, swimming and relaxation in the beautiful natural surroundings of Tykkimäen Sauna!
Opened in January 2017, Tykkimäen Sauna is a modern public sauna that is open to everyone. It is located on the shore of the picturesque lake Käyrälampi. The sauna is open every day of the year.
In our café you can find a selection of good food and drinks, favouring high quality products from local producers.
Tykkimäen Sauna was selected in 2017 as a Supreme Tourism Location in Kymenlaakso.
We also rent out our premises and sauna ferries for businesses and groups for private use.
You can hold conference events, evening parties or other types of celebrations at Tykkimäen Sauna. We can also organize an enjoyable event set around a sauna experience, good food and drink.
Our main sauna is heated by natural gas, and the large sauna room accommodates about 50 bathers. In addition to the big sauna, we also have two sauna ferries for use: the wood burning traditional sauna ferry is open for everyone on Tuesdays from 5pm onwards and Sundays from 2pm onwards. Our scenic sauna ferry offers a more mild experience that you can try on Thursdays from 5pm onwards.
We also offer other activities at the sauna: Sauna Yoga is a relaxing and grounding combination of gentle movement and the sauna heat, and depending on the season you can try for example SUP boarding in the summer and tour skating in the winter. Ask the café for more details!
The distance from Kouvola to Tykkimäen Sauna is about 5 km.
No appointment needed, and there is no time limit for your stay!
